If someone other than the parent/guardian will be picking up the student, the person picking up must be listed as one of the student’s emergency contacts. Parents/Guardians should email the school registrar ( monica_gonzalez@ roundrockisd.org ) at least 24 hours in advance to add any additional people to the emergency contacts. The email should specify the name and phone number of the person picking up. In the rare case that you are not able to notify the school registrar 24 hours in advance please call the front office so that email notification can be submitted ASAP. If you need to pick up your student near the end of the day, make plans to do so no later than 2:15 p.m. To preserve instructional time, students are called to the office once the parent arrives. Parents/Guardians/Emergency Contact will need to bring a valid photo ID Office staff will call students to the office for dismissal Parents should NOT go to the classroom to pick up students. Late Pick – Up Procedure: Unless the student attends after school class, all students are expected to be picked up by 3:10 pm. If students are not picked up by 3:10 pm they will be escorted to the front office to call parents/guardians. A parent/guardian or someone listed on the student’s emergency contact list must bring a Photo ID to the front office to sign the student(s) out. Changes in Afternoon Dismissal Plans: When making changes to your child’s regular dismissal routine, please communicate your arrangements to the front office (512-704-1200) prior to 1:30 pm. Attendance: Please note that the tardy bell rings at 7:40 am. If a student arrives after 7:40 am but before 9:00 am, they are tardy. If a student arrives after 9:00 am they are absent. If a student has a doctor’s appointment and arrives after 9:00 am they must bring a doctor’s note when they check into the front office. If a student is absent for any reason it is the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to report the absence to the front office. Absences can be reported via the Report Absence form here . To enroll your child as a student at Elsa England Elementary, please read and complete the steps outlined below: 1. Find your attendance zone using the Round Rock ISD school locator . If your address falls near the District boundaries, please contact our office. 2. Complete the required student registration forms online. RRISD New Student Online Registration . 3. Next, visit the office at Elsa England Elementary. Guardian(s) of new students must present ALL of the following documents to complete enrollment: a. Birth certificate b. Parent ID c. Proof of residence (one of the following documents): ·Lease agreement, if renting, ·contract of sale if purchasing, ·or current utility bill (water, gas or electric) indicating the address and the adult’s name d.
